From Portugal to Tuscany: the first stretch of this new path has been inaugurated
Yesterday, March 23rd, in Vidiguera, the signature of a Mou among Iter Vitis, Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme and the municipalities of Vidigueira and Giglio Castello-Isola del Giglio has been formalized. The first step of a new Iter Vitis initiative aimed at connecting all the historical sites producing wine in amphora : next stop Cefalonia. Our commitment for the safeguard of the intangible heritage related to winemaking in Europe moves forward, together with the support to small municipalities facilitating them in building international networks. In the next months Giglio will host a delegation of Portuguese young wine makers for a training on local winemaking .
