Giulia’s kosher Cannonau: a cultural and mystic experience
The wine of the Gospels is Cannonau from Ogliastra, the eastern coast of Sardinia, one of the 5 blue zones of the world. Paola Locci, archaeologist from Bari Sardo, in Rome for work, second degree in symbology of art, has long studied the connections between the cannonau and the city of Cana, City of Purple….. Porporino just like our famous wine . For years you have been studying the connections between Jewish communities and Sardinia. Arzana in Hebrew means land of Israel, therefore land of the people of God, Gairo meant those who had to be converted, Jerzu (which is the homeland of Cannonau with its biotype Jerzu one of the three sub-areas, an area suited to the cultivation of this vine autochthonous) means “our land”. Our Cannonau was born at the same time as the Nuraghi and is the oldest in Sardinia, even in our lands says “Giulia Mura” of the Mura /Corda family in Pelau Mannu in (Jerzu) there are the Nuraghi. This bond strengthens the union between Sardinia and Israel with the aim, starting from our beloved wine, to encourage studies and unite people of a single origin with a good Cannonau glass and good food. Historic company of Josto Miglior, with dozens of hectares of Cannonau and as many of centuries-old olive groves (Ogliastra in Sardinian means Olgiastu land of olive trees) with family oil mill as well as production of kosher oil, the Cannonau Kosher could not be missing, both unique in Sardinia, further quality mark in addition to organic in health territory.
