The EnoGastroDEST project, co-financed by Interreg Europe, has the mission to safeguard Europe’s eno-culinary traditions. This will allow to transform them into sustainable, experiential tourism opportunities. The project (2025–2029) brings together 11 partners to develop policies and practices that integrate wine and gastronomy into sustainable destination strategies.
The initiative will officially launch in Kastoria, Greece, on 17–18 September 2025, with conferences, workshops, and study visits. These will showcase how local food and wine can become powerful tools for cultural tourism and regional development.
