For over ten years the commitment of Iter Vitis Caucasus has been constant and supported by a network of exceptional local partners. The Caucasus represents a fundamental node for the development of European viticulture of which Georgia is the cradle: we can affirm without any doubts that our modern viticulture is based on the millennial Georgian tradition. More and more Iter Vitis wants to be present and start activities in the Caucasian area, which is why we are proud and honored to announce that Together with our Georgian partners from the Georgian Technical University, we realized that we needed a strong local leadership to optimize our commitment and we agreed to entrust Levan Kharatishvili and CSL with the management of the development of Iter Vitis in Georgia so that there are no sporadic events but a constant work that guarantees visibility to the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe program through Iter Vitis and a promotion of Georgian culture linked to the heritage of the vine, wine and viticultural landscape.
