Toulouse and its vineyards hosted the Award and the General Assembly in the frame of the European Wine Day
ITER VITIS Les Chemins de La Vigne en Europe Awards 2023 ceremony was held on October 27th in the gorgeous venue of the Prefecture de Region Occitanie.
15 laureats have been awarded in accordance with the democratic values of the Council of Europe carried by the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme. Since 2018 ITER VITIS Awards encourage actions concepts, commitments of public or private structures in Europe for the safeguard of vine and wine heritage and the promotion of sustainable wine tourism .

On the 28th an inspiring Iter Vitis General Assembly was held at the Maison des Vins in Fronton, hosted by ITER VITIS FRANCE and IVSO. After the reports on the state of the art in the various countries, the ITER VITIS Les Chemins de La Vigne en Europe Cultural Route of the Council of Europe members signed the agreement with the REMCI network, a network dedicated to Wine Museums in France for the expansion throughout the Iter Vitis area. Lots of enthusiasm and lots of actions in each countries are in the agenda for 2024. Before tasting the wines, the emotional enthronement ceremony of the Fronton wine brotherhood.
