From 3 to 5 November, the Reus Promoci\u00f3 Agency is taking part in the Barcelona Gastronomic Forum, the leading trade fair for the hospitality, gastronomy and foodservice sector, held at the Montju\u00efc venue of Fira de Barcelona. This year\u2019s edition, the largest in its history, has more than 400 exhibiting companies \u2014 10% more than in 2024 \u2014 and features all Catalonia\u2019s three-Michelin-star chefs, as well as Ferran Adri\u00e0. Coinciding with Catalonia\u2019s designation as World Region of Gastronomy, the fair champions New Catalan Cuisine as a culinary movement of global reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reus Promoci\u00f3 is present with its own stand dedicated to the Vermut de Reus brand, offering information and tastings of the vermouths that form part of it: Mir\u00f3, Iris, Yzaguirre, Rofes, Cori, Olave, Fot-li and Or del Camp. The space also hosts the city\u2019s other two Protected Designations of Origin, the Avellana de Reus PDO and the Siurana PDO, together with the best Pa de Pag\u00e8s Catal\u00e0 PGI of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reus Promoci\u00f3\u2019s participation in this event \u201cmakes it possible to present the Reus Vermouth Route and the Gaud\u00edReus tourism brand to an audience specialising in gastronomy, strengthening the city\u2019s positioning as the capital of vermouth\u201d, said the Councillor for City Projection, Noem\u00ed Llaurad\u00f3. The Gastronomic Forum \u201cis much more than a congress: it is a business platform that connects talent, product and innovation, and projects the sector\u2019s creative and competitive strength to the world\u201d, she stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the three days of the fair, attendees can discover and taste a wide variety of products, from the most traditional to the most avant-garde. Alongside this, the programme includes workshops and talks by internationally renowned professionals, some of them high-profile media figures, who offer a global and inspiring vision of haute cuisine.This action forms part of the Reus Promoci\u00f3 Agency\u2019s action plan for 2025, in line with the objectives of the Strategic Plan and the Municipal Action Plan, with the aim of \u201cstrengthening Reus\u2019s positioning as the capital of vermouth and promoting the Vermut de Reus brand among a mainly professional audience with expertise in gastronomy\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
