Iter Vitis among the partners of this New Path to Sustainable Travel<\/em>! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 9th, at the prestigious TTG Travel Experience, the Sustainable Food and Wine Tourist Charter (CarTES) was officially presented to the public by Professor Roberta Garibaldi, marking a significant milestone for sustainable tourism. This initiative is poised to create lasting impact, and even more exciting is the news that it will be implemented in selected pilot territories within the Iter Vitis network. This offers a tremendous opportunity for our regions to lead the way in promoting sustainable tourism, while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of food and wine and safeguarding the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Italian Association of Gastronomic Tourism with the leadership of Roberta Garibaldi, the National Wine Cities Association, the National Olive Oil Cities Association, the Federation of Wine, Oil, and Flavors Routes, the Iter Vitis Federation, Terranostra-Coldiretti, Unpli \u2013 the Union of Italian Pro Loco, and the National Consultation of Food Districts have come together to launch CarTES. This collaboration signals a strong commitment to fostering responsible food and wine tourism across Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iter Vitis network, renowned for its cultural contributions to wine tourism, is the ideal context for implementing CarTES in pilot regions. These territories will act as trailblazers in integrating sustainable practices into tourism, demonstrating how local food, wine, and traditions can be honored while protecting vital resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
