National Archaeological Museum of Spain, Madrid — September 15, 2026
On September 15th, Iter Vitis – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe will hold a special event at the National Archaeological Museum of Spain (MAN) in Madrid, dedicated to the age-old bond between the vine, wine, archaeology, and European cultural heritage.
Wine is far more than a product: it is landscape, memory, exchange, and culture. Through archaeological remains, ancient winemaking practices, and the territories that still preserve this heritage today, it is possible to reconstruct a history that connects peoples and cultures across Europe and the Mediterranean.
